Fencing & Landscaping

Before you move in, there are a few steps to organising your fencing and landscaping. Check the guide below, note the key dates in your diary, so the finishing touches are ready for your first day at home.

The checklist #

Step 1: Contact us early
About 8-12 weeks before your home reaches Practical Completion, get in touch with our nominated fencing and landscaping contractors (details below or email email hidden; JavaScript is required).

Step 2: Be “site ready”
Before we can install, make sure your site is ready! This means your driveway/crossover is in place, survey pegs are in position, your site is clean and level, irrigation ducts and conduits are installed, and any verge/footpath damage is repaired to Council standards.

Step 3: Design consultation
You’ll meet with the landscaping contractor to design a waterwise front garden. You’ll select plants from our approved range, and the contractor will confirm your inclusions.

Step 4: Installation
The contractor will install your fencing and landscaping package, including turf, irrigation, and verge tree(s). They’ll coordinate directly with you on timing.

Step 5: Handover & warranty
Once installed, the contractor will handover your garden.

    • Fencing is installed along the side and rear boundaries, no further forward than the building line (unless approved). On retaining walls, fencing is cored into the wall for stability.
